10-Year Warranty

What's Covered

Our 10-year warranty covers defects in workmanship and structural issues that arise from the installation process. This includes:

• Structural Cracking: Cracks wider than 1/4 inch that affect the structural integrity of the concrete
• Settlement Issues: Significant sinking or heaving caused by improper base preparation
• Scaling or Spalling: Surface deterioration due to improper finishing or curing techniques
• Joint Failure: Control joints that fail to function as designed
• Drainage Problems: Water pooling caused by improper grading during installation
• Stamped Pattern Defects: Pattern inconsistencies or color application errors (stamped concrete projects)

What's Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover issues resulting from factors outside our control or normal concrete characteristics:

• Hairline Cracks: Minor surface cracks less than 1/8 inch are a normal characteristic of concrete and do not affect structural integrity
• Color Variations: Slight color differences are natural in concrete due to curing conditions and aggregate variations
• Normal Wear and Tear: Surface wear from regular vehicle and foot traffic over time
• Chemical Damage: Damage from de-icing salts, fertilizers, oil spills, or other chemicals
• Impact Damage: Cracks or chips from dropped objects, vehicle accidents, or heavy equipment
• Natural Disasters: Damage from hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, lightning, or other acts of God
• Tree Root Damage: Lifting or cracking caused by tree root growth
• Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from failure to seal or maintain concrete as recommended
• Unauthorized Modifications: Issues arising from alterations, cuts, or additions made by others
• Soil Conditions: Issues caused by pre-existing soil conditions not disclosed prior to installation

Warranty Terms

• Duration: 10 years from the date of project completion
• Transferability: This warranty is transferable to new property owners within the warranty period
• Coverage Area: Applies to all concrete work performed by Orlando Concrete Driveway Experts
• Remedy: We will repair or replace defective work at our discretion at no cost to you

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your concrete has a defect covered under our warranty:

2. Provide Documentation: Have your original contract or invoice number ready
3. Describe the Issue: Explain the problem and when you first noticed it
4. Schedule Inspection: We'll arrange a free on-site inspection within 5-7 business days
5. Resolution: If the issue is covered, we'll schedule repairs at a mutually convenient time

Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, we recommend the following maintenance practices:

• Sealing: Apply a quality concrete sealer every 2-3 years (we offer this service)
• Cleaning: Regular cleaning to prevent stain buildup
• Snow/Ice: Avoid using salt-based de-icers; use sand or calcium chloride instead
• Heavy Loads: Avoid parking vehicles over 10,000 lbs on standard 4-inch driveways
• Prompt Repairs: Address any cracks promptly to prevent water infiltration
